Townsend Elementary Library

The Mid-Del Public Schools media center functioned as a dark, under-performing, bland construction within the courtyard of Townsend Elementary School. Our goal was to bring new life and significance to that structure and provide an engaging learning resource for the school.

The complete interior remodel includes all building systems: Architectural, Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical, and new interior configuration and finished. Additional windows increased the daylighting, and this facility served as a test case for new energy efficient LED light fixtures.
