Okmulgee Events Center

Mass Architects developed a master plan for the existing Okmulgee Events site and for the existing historic buildings. The complex included a foundry, a warehouse building, and a bunker. These structures were developed into an event center with a bar, a brewery, and support space.
The historic buildings had experienced significant deterioration. Although they were largely structurally sound, signification repair and some stabilization was needed before repair and renovation could begin. Sections of roof and window had collapsed, as well as significantly present natural growth.
Upon completion, the restored buildings will once again reflect their former glory. They will also enable the Okmulgee citizens to celebrate social and communal events in a central location.
